Ethnocentricity can cause many conflicts because one judges the other culture with their eyes instead of accepting the culture. In the movie the First Australians, the British thought the first Australians of being savages because they didn't wear clothes. The Aborigines became mad as the British compared their culture with Aborigines.In this movie the Aborigines were shown less ethnocentric because according to them accepting others cultures and values. The Aboriginals were known to be more open with each other. This made them think that the British were strange because they were not as open as the Aborigines. In western cultures like England, it is a common take over other's land. When the British came and colonized Australia, the Aboriginals were speechless because they already had separated the borders and the British were messing up their planning. Both The British and Aborigines evaluated one another through their point of view, which caused conflicts. The British thought that they were superior to the first Australians and decided to take by force. In the book "The Rabbits", the British took over the Aboriginals land by destroying their land and ruining it. The Aboriginals fought with the British with their force back to keep their land, but the British had the advantage of advanced warfare and killed most of the Aboriginals .They even ordered to kill women and children, so they can stop the race going on for generations. All this would not have been happened if both of the culture would have got along and treated each culture with respect. If this had taken place, both cultures wouldn't have to fight and everything would have settled.

ACT 2/ SCENE 2/ LINES 8-56/Page 88-92
In this scene Calpurnia is trying to convince Caesar to stay at home and not go to the senate, because she had a dream of Caesar being murdered. In Calpurnia’s dream she saw Caesar’s statue with 100 stabs and while the blood was pouring the Romans would wash their hands in the blood with joy. This scene is foreshadowing of the assassination which is about to happen; Calpurnia is in vision what will happen at the senate.
This scene was chosen to show Caesar’s private and public sides. Also to show the love and respect Calpurnia has on her husband and it is a battle between faiths vs. freewill. Caesar’s private side was shown when he pates Calpurnia’s head and says that he will stay home for her but actually he is also staying with his own fear. Caesar’s shows he is brave by saying that he is more dangerous than danger itself and also says that if he stays home he would be a be a beast without a heart. Calpurnia’s love and respect is shown when she kneels and begs to him telling Caesar not to go to the senate.
Quote : (only the lines that’s going to be said)
“CALPURNIA
What mean you, Caesar? think you to walk forth?
You shall not stir out of your house to-day.
CAESAR
Caesar shall forth: the things that threaten'd me
Ne'er look'd but on my back; when they shall see
The face of Caesar, they are vanished.
CALPURNIA
Caesar, I never stood on ceremonies,
Yet now they fright me. There is one within,
Besides the things that we have heard and seen,
Recounts most horrid sights seen by the watch.
A lioness hath whelped in the streets;
And graves have yawn'd, and yielded up their dead;
Fierce fiery warriors fought upon the clouds,
In ranks and squadrons and right form of war,
Which drizzled blood upon the Capitol;
The noise of battle hurtled in the air,
Horses did neigh, and dying men did groan,
And ghosts did shriek and squeal about the streets.
O Caesar! these things are beyond all use,
And I do fear them.
CAESAR
What can be avoided
Whose end is purposed by the mighty gods?
Yet Caesar shall go forth; for these predictions
Are to the world in general as to Caesar.
CALPURNIA
When beggars die, there are no comets seen;
The heavens themselves blaze forth the death of princes.
CAESAR
Cowards die many times before their deaths;
The valiant never taste of death but once.
Of all the wonders that I yet have heard.
It seems to me most strange that men should fear;
Seeing that death, a necessary end,
Will come when it will come.
CAESAR
The gods do this in shame of cowardice:
Caesar should be a beast without a heart,
If he should stay at home to-day for fear.
No, Caesar shall not: danger knows full well
That Caesar is more dangerous than he:
We are two lions litter'd in one day,
And I the elder and more terrible:
And Caesar shall go forth.
CALPURNIA
Alas, my lord,
Your wisdom is consumed in confidence.
Do not go forth to-day: call it my fear
That keeps you in the house, and not your own.
We'll send Mark Antony to the senate-house:
And he shall say you are not well to-day:
Let me, upon my knee, prevail in this.
CAESAR
Mark Antony shall say I am not well,
And, for thy humour, I will stay at home.”

Learning Profile
As a gestalt learner with a "J" learning profile:
I would like my teachers to know this about me that I need more time to understand what the teachers or peers are saying. Mostly because English is my first language but Malayalam is my mother tone and also because it normally takes me a while to know what to do. Sometimes I would want my teachers to go a bit slower because I probably did not understand what my teacher explained.
I learn best through imagining the whole picture of the subject I am learning about. For example the Julius Caesar book. I would have to stop and try to imagine what is happening after each paragraph. I also learn when communicating with peers and teachers but not when communicating in front of the whole class. Emotions effect the way I learn as well because when relaxed I would try my best to communicate more and easily with details and evidences. Imagining my ending results and not following everything step by step instructions is also the way I learn but when I have trouble figuring out what to do exactly and can not actually imagine the end. I would prefer and try to follow the instructions step by step. Then doing what is appropriate for me.
I need help most of the time with modeling how to work because of the vocabularies that is being used to explain the work. Also the way it is being explained because according to me sometimes the teachers explanation goes really fast for me and I would not be able to translate to my own language. Encouraging is really helpful for me when doing work or when I do not understand what to do because when encouraging I would put my best work into the work I am doing. Encouraging mixes with my emotions and makes me concentrate when not relaxed. I would prefer sitting in the middle section or right side in the front. My eye sight is week on my left so sitting in the front helps me to be able to see better. My dominant ear is my left ear so sitting in the right side is also helpful. When grouping people I would prefer sitting with peers who can control them self and can work with anyone.
The strategies that would help me in my learning is use of visuals because visuals helps me understand strategies easier. Visuals also helps me the work I am doing for example the Julius Caesar Acts we watch as a class. Watching the act helps me with the understandings I have and leads me into the exact place knowledge I need. Discussing topics also is a strategy that would help me succeed because when discussing topics I learn more and be clear with the topic as well. For example after talking a test then discussing gives me better grade that last time with the similar test.

Mostly because English is my first language but Malayalam is my mother tone and also because it normally takes me a while to know what to do.
